Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers

THE SMART CHOICE FOR COOLING PROCESS FLUIDS

For heating or cooling process fluids, WCR Shell and Tube heat exchangers perform like no other. They’re suitable for cooling water-soluble oil solutions in quenching tanks and for closed circuit cooling of electrical equipment using demineralized water. While the shell side typically holds the process fluid, the tube side contains water or an ethylene glycol from a chiller unit. These units work specifically well for processes containing fluids or gas mediums that can be highly corrosive to gasket materials.

They can be used to either condense gas or reclaim heat from exhaust gas, and perform extremely well for any high-pressure applications between 400 to 750 psi. In addition to our standard product range, we’re able to design units as large as 6 feet (180 cm) in diameter and 20 feet (6 m) in length to meet large-scale heat transfer demands.
