Duplex Separators

Cleaning Stations are desirable due to the fact that they combine magnetic separation with advanced metal detection technology to efficiently remove metal contamination from materials such as regrind, free-flowing virgin resins, recycled plastics, and more. Cleaning Stations are particularly desirable in applications where the variety or volume of metal contamination within the material being processed could overwhelm a single piece of equipment. Cleaning Stations are an excellent choice for the purification of regrind, recycled goods, and other plastics materials being processed in your plastics plant.

The first component of our standard Cleaning Station is an FF Series Drawer Magnet. This piece of magnetic separation equipment harness the power of neodymium magnets to capture and hold a wide range of ferrous materials—from large pieces of tramp iron to even the tiniest fine metal particles. The second component is one of our metal detectors, which use the most advanced metal detection technology to detect and reject all types of metal contamination, including non-ferrous metals and stainless steel. Our Cleaning Station will typically implement a quickTRON 03R or HS 9100 metal detector. These metal detectors feature adjustable sensitivity and rejection cycling features to conserve good material. We offer our Cleaning Stations in 3 specific configurations: Gaylord Cleaning Stations, By the Press Cleaning Stations, and Duplex Separator Cleaning Stations.
