Description
The diaphragm monitoring system fulfils the constantly growing requirements for process monitoring on plants for sanitary applications. Not only the measuring signal, but also the status of the integrated diaphragm monitoring can be transmitted to the process control with the HART protocol. The system architecture with integrated diaphragm monitoring bridges the gap between digitalisation and process reliability.
A monitoring element is mainly used for electrical/digital signal transmission of the diaphragm condition with the patented diaphgram montioring. In addition, the diaphragm condition is displayed on a dial with red/green areas.
A second internal diaphragm ensures the reliable separation of the environment and the process in the event of a diaphgram rupture. A fluid inside the system hydraulically transmits the pressure to the pressure measuring instrument. This fluid is chosen to suit the particular application. Depending on the application, the system fill fluid is FDA- and also USP-compliant.
The system can be supplied with all common process connections for sanitary applications and fulfils the applicable standards for them.
