Commercial and Industrial Fluid Coils

Fluid coils are available for chilled water, hot water, glycol and special fluid applications.

W Coils – Standard Fluid Coils – Standard water coils typically consisting of multiple rows and circuits.

P Coils – Pitched Core Fluid Coils – Similar to our standard water coils. However, the core on a “P” coil is pitched within the casing and auxiliary drain headers are used to ensure fast and complete drainage of the coil.

J, X, and K Coils – Fluid Coils with Cleanable Tube Plugs – Featuring brass end caps on tube ends that allow access to the interior of the coil for cleaning. These coils are typically applied in environments where sediment or foreign materials may accumulate within the coil.

Q, Y, and R Coils – Fluid Coils with Removable Box Header – The removable box is ideal for high-sediment fluid environments, such as river or lake water. Removing the headers exposes all of the tubes for easy inspection or cleaning.

Split Core Coils – Fluid Coils Manufactured in Multiple Sections to Ease Install – Optional feature that allows nearly any Marlo coil to be divided into smaller sections to ease installation in limited space applications. The coil is split in the core area with divider plates and re-assembled on-site.

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions Chilled and Hot Water Coils

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions offers “W” and “P” coils. “W” coils are standard hot and chilled water coils. “P” coils are hot and chilled water coils that are in pitched casings. They also have auxiliary drain headers to improve draining the coil.

Industrial Cleanable Coils with Removable Plugs

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions offers engineered-to-order fin and tube heat exchangers for industrial applications. These coils have removable plugs instead of traditional return bends. The plugs can be removed to clean the inside of the heat exchanger tubes to restore them to like new performance. These coils are popular wherever fluids with sediment or other contaminants are present. Routine cleaning is required to keep the system working at peak performance. These coils can be ASME Section VIII U stamped. They can also be used at higher operating pressures than our Q, Y, & R coils.

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions Split Core Coils

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions offers Chilled and Hot Water Coils with split cores for ease of installation and replacement. All Marlo “W” coils can be made with more than one core. This allows for the coil to fit into tight spaces. The cores are bolted together during the installation process to allow for much easier installation. No more tearing down walls or cutting holes in buildings to replace a coil that no longer performs.

S & V Steam Coils

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions offers engineered to order straight-through steam coils. These are used for heating applications in your Air Handler or Industrial process. The versatile straight-through construction can be used in horizontal or vertical applications. “S” coils feature 5/8″ tubes and “V” coils feature 1″ tubes on 2.25″ centers. These are tighter than industry standards for more performance in a smaller package. “S” and “V” coils are available in a wide range of materials and constructions. 1″ and 5/8″ Distributing Steam Coils

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions offers the “D” and “H” distributing steam coils. “D” coils are standard steam coils with distributing steam tubes within 5/8″ condensate return tubes. These are sometimes referred to as Freeze Proof coils. This is due to their resistance to freezing when used in temperatures below 32F. “H” coils are built the same way except they use 1″ condensate return tubes.

DX and Ammonia Cooling Coils

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions offers engineered-to-order refrigerant coils for commercial and industrial applications.

Our DX and flooded evaporator coils are used in the following:

  • Tunnel coolers
  • Other two phase refrigerant applications where high performance and durability are needed

Replaceable Coil Module for Air Handlers and Fan Coil Assemblies

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions offers engineered to order Replaceable Coil Modules. These are for your aging or worn out Air Handling Unit (AHU) or Fan Coil Assembly. The unit features Galvanized Steel Housings that drop into your existing Air Handler. They then replace your Cooling Coil or DX Coil section to extend the longevity of your otherwise fully functional AHU. The RCM’s feature galvanized steel or stainless steel drain pans that meet IAQ slope requirements to comply with AHRAE and AHRI clean air standards.

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions Airtight Coil

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions offers the airtight coil for demanding industrial process heating and cooling needs. The airtight housing can accept steam, hot, and chilled water. It will also accept DX coils. The housing is fully welded to prevent inside process air and outside air from coming into contact with each other.

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions Humidity Control Coils or HCC Coils

Marlo Heat Transfer Solutions Humidity Control Coils for use in hospitals, data centers. and laboratories. Typically used where modest reheat is required to control humidity. The HCC coil uses the warm return water from a chilled water coil to reheat the air as it exits the coil.
