Multi-Channel Amplifiers for Glass Fibers

In applications in which several fibre optic sensors are required for position detection, the OO series multi-channel fibre-optic amplifier for fibre optics in metal sheath with glass fibres represents a low-cost alternative to many individual fibre-optic amplifiers mounted side by side.

Thanks to its compact design the multi-channel fibre optic amplifier OO can be used in applications with limited mounting space. Mounting the sensor on a DIN rail and adapting the fibre optics only takes a few steps. Setting of the switching threshold, light-on / dark-on mode and output delay and selection of the desired channel is made easily by means of buttons on the amplifier.

A logical AND or OR conjunction of all channels is programmable. Mutual photoelectric disturbance of the individual channels is excluded.

The OO fibre-optic amplifier is available with 2, 4, 6 or 8 channels.
