Solvent Recovery Condensers

Whether you are trying to control emissions or recover valuable solvents, Enerquip can provide a vertical or inclined horizontal condenser that will achieve your objectives, under vacuum or pressure conditions.

Reflux Condensers

Most are designed to mount directly on a tank or reactor vent flange, with vapors rising up through the tubes, condensing, and the condensate dripping back down into the tank. This is achieved with coolant on the shell side, which cools the tube walls, causing condensation of the vapor. These can also be designed as stand-alone condensers mounted vertically or horizontally.

Knock-back Condensers / Cold Trap Condensers

These are typically designed as vertical U-tube units with a removable tube bundle hanging down into the shell. Vapors enter the shell, make contact with the tube bundle and condense out, with the condensate draining out the bottom of the shell. These can be designed with an extended shell section to collect the condensate away from the tube bundle.

Pharmaceutical Condensers

Enerquip sanitary condensers have polished product contact surfaces and sanitary tri-clamp connections designed to ASME-BPE to ensure purity of your product stream during condensing, typically on the tube side of the exchanger. Available in single and double tubesheet designs. Electro-polished tube-side finish is available as an option on 304L or 316L SS. Other materials of construction are available, including Hastelloy C-276 and C-22.
