U-bend Steam Coils are used for zone heating or individual room heating where small hot water or steam coils are required.
U-Bend Steam Coils
ANSCOR U-Bend steam coils are manufactured with 5/8″, 3/4″ or 1″ O.D. tubes. Coils for normal duty are furnished with copper tubes. On high pressure applications, cupro-nickle, carbon steel (welded) or stainless steel (welded) can be furnished. Tubes, headers and connections are brazed into an integral assembly of copper with a high quality silverbearing alloy. When other materials are used, the latest fabricating techniques are employed. Fins on ANSCOR coils are continuous plate type. Tubes are mechanically expanded into dieformed collars on the fins, thus assuring a tight, permanent bond, resulting in maximum heat transfer efficiency. All coils are available in 1, 2, or 4 row sections, with 4 thru 14 fins per inch. Tubes are furnished either “inline” or “staggered” arrangement.
COIL PERFORMANCE FEATURES
- Plate type fins, less dirt clogging for low maintenance.
- Built in vacuum breakers available.
- Standard coils are guaranteed for working pressure up to 150 PSIG and 366 degrees fahrenheit. Coils are air- tested at 225 PSIG underwater.
- Coils for higher pressures can be furnished.
