Blast Type Standard Steam Coils

ANSCOR Blast Heat Coils are manufactured from 5/8″ O.D. copper tubes. Coils for normal duty are furnished in .028″ wall tubes. Extra heavy duty tubes are .049″ or 3/4″ O.D. x .042″ wall copper tubes. Headers on coils for low pressure applications are of heavy wall copper tubing with red brass connections; for high pressure applications, steel is furnished.

COIL PERFORMANCE FEATURES

Built-in vacuum breakers available. Standard coils are guaranteed for working pressures up to 150 PSIG and 366 degrees fahrenheit.
Coils are air-tested at 225 PSIG under water.
Coils for higher pressures can be furnished.

Description

Tubes, Headers and Connections are brazed into an integral assembly of copper with a high quality silverbearing alloy. When other materials are used, the latest fabricating techniques are employed.

Fins on ANSCOR coils are continuous plate type. Tubes are mechanically expanded into die-formed collars on the fins, thus assuring a tight, permanent bond, resulting in maximum heat transfer efficiency.

ALL COILS are made in 1, 2 and 3 row sections with 4 thru 14 aluminum or copper fins per inch. 5/8″ tubes are furnished in either “in-line” or “staggered” arrangement; 3/4″ tubes, “staggered” arrangement.
