In highly automated industrial processes the colour is often a selection criterion for detecting, sorting or inspecting various products and goods. Both the colour of a product itself and the packaging, labels or imprints can be precisely detected using electronic colour sensors.
The sensor is set to the colour to be detected with one push of the button. Reliable differentiation of even the finest shades of colour is accomplished by means of five tolerance steps. The autodetect output stage automatically sets the switching output of the sensor to PNP or NPN operation.
